Alexis, a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), possesses a unique blend of expertise in both painting and sculpture. After Receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, she returned to her hometown of Chicago, where she founded a painting company specializing in crafting custom surfaces for residential properties. This venture seamlessly transitioned into scenic painting for theaters and the creation of custom backgrounds for photography studios and advertising campaigns.

Presently, Alexis serves as the Scenic Artist Manager for Crate&Barrel, CB2, and Crate Kids Marketing Photography Studio, where she leads a talented team of painters. Together, they adeptly interpret design visions, infusing textures, faux finishes, and captivating murals across all brands under the Crate&Barrel umbrella.

Alexis's reputation for delivering exceptional quality and precision precedes her, endorsed by a diverse clientele ranging from corporate partners and designers to photographers and homeowners. She thrives on collaboration, reveling in the process of transforming clients' concepts into tangible realities. With her wealth of technical knowledge and sculptural background, there's no project beyond her reach.
